โครงการทำหมัน ณ ตำบลท่าผา อำเภอเกาะคา จังหวัดลำปาง ดำเนินงานโดยมูลนิธิสันติสุขเพื่อสุนัขและแมวจรจัด ควบคุมและปฏิบัติงานโดย สัตวแพทย์หญิงจิณาทัศน์ จรวยพรวจีงาม และนายสัตวแพทย์ศุภฤกษ์ เดอลาปาซ ทางมูลนิธิฯ พยายามทำหมันทั้งสุนัขและแมวจรจัดของชุมชน รวมถึงสัตว์เลี้ยงที่มีเจ้าของ เพื่อควบคุมประชากรและป้องกันการเกิดที่ไม่พึงประสงค์
การควบคุมจำนวนประชากรสัตว์จะช่วยลดปัญหาสุนัขและแมวจรจัด ลดการนำสัตว์ไปปล่อยทิ้ง ซึ่งมีต้นเหตุหลักมาจากจำนวนที่เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็ว โครงการครั้งต่อไปจะจัดขึ้นที่เทศบาลตำบลแม่ทะ จังหวัดลำปาง

Trap, Neuter, and Return
143 Animals Spayed/Neutered
A spay/neuter project was conducted in Tha Pha sub-district, Ko Kha district, Lampang, managed by the Santisuk Foundation for Stray Dogs and Cats. The operation was supervised by Dr. Jinatat Jaruayprujee-ngam (DVM) and Dr. Suparoek De la Paz (DVM). The foundation strives to spay and neuter both community stray animals and owned pets.
The goal is to control the animal population, prevent unwanted births, reduce the stray dog and cat problem, and decrease animal abandonment, which stems from overpopulation. Our next project will take place at the Mae Tha sub-district municipality in Lampang.
The best solution... stops with spaying and neutering.
