RIP เจ้าตัวน้อย
วันนี้เราเข้าทำความสะอาดด้านหลังบ้านแมวสันติสุข (ดอยสะเก็ด) ได้ยินเสียงขู่จากในบ้านแมวของเรา และเห็นแมวพากันไปชุมนุมมองออกไปข้างนอก เราจึงสังเกตเห็นสิ่งผิดปกติขยับอยู่ใต้ใบตองกล้วย
เมื่อเดินเข้าไปดู ก็ได้เจอเจ้าตัวนี้ในสภาพที่อิดโรยมาก ตาบอด ผอมโซ และมีกลิ่นของการติดเชื้อรุนแรง
เราจึงรีบนำส่งโรงพยาบาลสัตว์ที่ใกล้ที่สุด และพยายามติดต่อให้เจ้าหน้าที่อนุรักษ์พันธุ์สัตว์ป่ามารับไปดูแลต่อ แต่น้องก็ไม่ไหวจริงๆ
ขอโทษนะที่เราเจอกันช้าไป เราไม่รู้ว่าเขามาจากไหน อยู่อย่างนั้นมานานแค่ไหน หรือเป็นสายพันธุ์อะไร สุดท้ายเราก็ได้ทำพิธีเผาเพื่อส่งเขากลับสู่ดิน
ไม่เจ็บ ไม่ปวดแล้วนะ
RIP Little One
Today, while cleaning behind the Santisuk Cat House (Doi Saket), we heard hissing from inside our cat shelter. The cats had gathered and were all looking outside. We noticed something moving abnormally under a banana leaf.
Upon getting closer, we found this little creature in a very weak state—blind, extremely thin, and with a strong smell of infection.
We rushed him to the nearest animal hospital and tried to contact wildlife conservation officers to take over his care, but he couldn't hold on.
We are so sorry we found you too late. We don't know where you came from, how long you had been there, or what species you were. In the end, we cremated you and returned you to the earth.
No more pain, no more suffering.
